Hi everyone!! I’m Joyce Bernardino and I’m so happy to be the President of PFA this year! I’m a Senior in Industrial Engineering minoring in Innovation and Transformational Change. I joined PFA my freshman year, and I’m so grateful I found a great community that encouraged me to learn more about my heritage and history. I’m excited to continue that legacy for our members as President! I hope I see you this year at our events <3 If you’re looking for me on campus, I’m normally studying at the PMU while listening to Remi Wolf, Mitski, Charli XCX, or k-pop! When I’m not studying, I love crocheting while binge-watching survivor and going out for ramen and boba! Looking forward to a great year in school with my PFAm!

Hiya! My name is Emily Reyes and I am your Vice President External for this year!! I am a sophomore double majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Industrial Engineering Technology, and I am from Los Angeles, CA. A few things about me: I’m super into martial arts (been doing it since I was 5), I love cooking because I also love eating, and my music taste is all over the place cuz I’ll listen to just about anything.. except country >:( Growing up, I was not super in touch with my Filipino heritage, but PFA has shown me all that there is to love about the culture, and more importantly, the people! If you see me on campus, don’t be afraid to say hi!! Might not recognize ya at first but I’ll get there eventually

Hi PFAM, I’m Marly Palanca and I’m your VPI this upcoming year!! I joined PFA my freshman year and it’s been a place where I’ve formed my closest friendships and I’m excited to help PFA grow! I’m a Junior majoring in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences with minors in Psychology and Asian American Studies. When I’m not focused on academics I love songwriting, spending all my money on squishmallows, and hanging out with friends. I’m also an avid spotify listener, my favorite song right now is hysterical us by magdalena bay. I hope to get to know all of you more at our events this year. ;)

Hihi! My name is Tessa Collinson (they/she) and I am so excited to be this year’s Co-Secretary, alongside the amazing Alexandria Montoya! I’m a sophomore in Visual Communication Design with minors in Art History and Management. During my freshman year, joining PFA was an amazing way for me to connect to my culture and become friends with wonderful people who understand the experience of being Filipino-American. I’m so excited to be able to lend my skills to this organization which has given me so much! When I’m not working on graphics, my favorite things to do are listen to music (my favorite artists include Beach Bunny, Stray Kids, and mxmtoon), play games (I prefer chill ones like Stardew Valley, the Sims, and Minecraft), and binge k-dramas or anime (though Heartstopper is next on my binge list). Don’t be afraid to say hi if you see me grinding in the PMU, at work, or passing you on my longboard. Please reach out if you need any advice or have any questions about PFA!

Helloo~ I’m Alexandria, and I’m your other co-secretary along with Tessa <3 I’m a junior in Electrical Engineering, and you’ll most likely catch me at MSEE studying or hanging out with my friends at the PMU! I’ve been a part of PFA since my freshman year, and it has given me so many opportunities to grow and find my closest friends. Outside of school, I love playing the piano, doing little photoshoots, and drawing in my free time. I also like playing video games, mostly console single-player games such as the Final Fantasy series or Pokemon haha, and listening to music where my taste ranges from indie rock to a lot of hip-hop and rap. Anyways, I’m super excited to work with all of you, so don’t be afraid to say hi :)

Hi y'all!! My name is Adrienne (most people call me Ad) and I'm your Event Coordinator this year! I'm currently a Junior in Data Science with minors in Computer Science, Management, and Computer and Information Technology and I'm from Plano, TX! During the year you can probably find me at Tsaocaa downing copius amounts of boba after an exam or absolutely demolishing bingsoo from Momo (Soy Balls flavor >>>). Otherwise, I really enjoy anime, kdramas, and cooking. I'm excited to see all of you at our events this year!

Hello! my name is Evan Wang and I will be the treasurer for PFA for this upcoming year. I am a junior in Electrical Engineering. I have been apart of PFA for 3+ semester, PFA contributed a lot to my growth as a student and as a leader, So I decided to give back and be apart of the future of PFA and support new members that join PFA. Outside of PFA, I enjoying playing video games such as league and minesweeper, or stressing out over my tests or assignments at the PMU. Hey everyone!! I’m Abby Regacho, your cultural chair this year! I am a junior with a major in Neurobiology and Physiology and a minor in Spanish. I’ve been involved PFA since my freshman (zoom) year but finally got to be involved in person last year on the cultural committee! My favorite PFA memories include teaching Tagalog workshops, cultural roundtables, and PCN! Please reach out for any of your cultural needs or just to chat!! You can probably find me getting boba or coffee, at the CoRec, or in Chaney in the wee hours of night on that grind. Can’t wait for an amazing year with everyone!

My name is Kayla Devia and I am one of this year’s PCN Directors. I am a Junior in Engineering, and I hope to be able to help make PFA a safe place for all people. I like to choreograph dance, hang out with friends, and write music in my free time. PFA means a lot to me by giving me another family from home. I hope I can give this feeling to other members with my current position!

Hiii :) my name is Reagan Jones and I’ll be your VPI this year! I’m majoring in Environmental Health Sciences and minoring in Environmental Policy and hopefully Psych. I love finding new music, thrifting, painting and watching kdramas (I’m watching Sweet Home as I’m writing this). Don’t hold it against me, but I don’t like boba 😣 but I love ramen and dumplings. My favorite thing to do on campus when I need a pick me up is get Rice Cafe for their crab rangoon and lo mein. A fun fact about me is that I just learn I’m actually roughly 20% Southeast Asian. Being involved in PFA has really helped Purdue’s big campus feel small. I love being able to walk around and run into other members :) As the VPI I hope that I can help provide the means for both returning members and new members to create friendships and memories.
