Hey Pfam! My name’s Marie Encarnado, and I’m your President this year! I’m a Senior studying Computer Science with a focus in Machine Learning. I’m from Greenwood, Indiana so not too far from here. With my time outside of PFA, I enjoy quality time with my friends and group fitness, and I’m a cycle instructor at the Co Rec so you should def take my classes! I have many hobbies that don’t tend to stick BUT I’m currently on a baking kick so make sure to attend our events in case I bring some to share. I joined PFA my freshman year of college in 2021 and have grown more and more involved as the years have gone by. I want to continue staying involved for my final year at Purdue and help spread the Pfam vibes and culture that pulled me into PFA in the first place ❤️

Hey yall! My name is Nico and I am this year's VPI! I am a junior studying Business Analytics and Information Management with certificates in Data Science and Entrepreneurship. I am from the Bay Area in California and am actually a triplet! I love playing volleyball and soccer, going out with friends, eating food, raving (if you rave lmk), and playing mahjong/catan/poker! I joined PFA my sophomore year and have really grown to love our Purdue Pamilya. PFA helped me find new friends that I can rely on for anything and gave me a sense of home.

Hi! I'm Cristina and I'm this year's Media Manager. I am a senior in UX Design minoring in Psychology and Communications. I love doing anything outdoors, movies, music, anime, and just exploring and trying new things! I joined PFA to learn and be more involved in my culture as I didn't get to a lot growing up. I hope to continue to spread the love of Filipino culture and PFA this year! :)

Hello hello! My name is Joshua and I’m the secretary for this year. Currently suffering as a Junior in Mechanical Engineer, I’ve been part of PFA since my first semester here at Purdue. My hobbies include gaming (shoutout to the new Elden Ring DLC that ruined me), climbing and working out, eating, playing the piano, destabilizing foreign governments (in Minecraft), and sleeping. I joined PFA cuz it seemed fun and I needed friends, so safe to say things worked out pretty well and I hope you enjoy your time with us!

Hello! My name is Neo Uypuanco and I will be your event coordinator this year. I am a junior in industrial engineering and I am minoring in management. Somethings I enjoy are cooking (IG cooking account @cookwithneo), video games, play in a band, workout, and eat. Fun fact about me is that I like to taste all kinds of cheeses. I don't like the moldy ones tho. Some good cheese are blueberry vanilla chevre and port salut. I joined PFA because my cousins were part of the FAA at IU and told me to join the filipino club at purdue because you can make a lot of friends there. They were right and so far I have had a lot of fun with the friends I've made.

Hey all! I'm Matthew Roxas, and I'm your Treasurer for the year. I'm currently a Junior in Computer Engineering, and I've been a member of PFA since my freshmen year. A couple of facts about me: I'm a huge basketball fan, especially Purdue basketball, and I'm always down to talk about anything bball related. I also enjoy hiking, table tennis, and toying around with AI. I joined PFA because after coming to campus, I wanted to find a place where I can become friends with people not in my major, and PFA was the perfect place to meet people who share an interest in Filipino culture. Hey y'all! I'm Shane, and I'm a junior in Biomedical Health Sciences on a pre-med track. I've been in PFA ever since Fall 2022 when I was a freshman. PFA gave me the opportunity to make new friends, learn more about and connect with Filipino culture, as well as give me a creative outlet for all my talents, which PFA has also helped me discover (s/o to PCN which has been the most exhilarating and enjoyable experience that I hope YOU will consider beind a part of). I joined PFA my freshman year because I wanted to connect to other students who grew up with the Filipino-American culture. Back home, my parents were never active in a Filipino community so I never knew what it was like until I came here to Purdue.
